We accept September applications for internship students from September 1st (Sun) to September 20th (Fri).

Applicants must be at least a third-year undergraduate student and enrolled in a Japanese university or graduate school at the time of the internship.

We accept April applications for internship students from April 1st (Mon) to April 25th (Thu).

Please note that the only offer type available for the April recruitment is the Global Internship, which differs from the Exchange Internship in that it requires a higher English test score and has a different training availability period.

In order to comply with the new schedule set by IAESTE A.s.b.l., we have made the following changes to the internship application schedule.
Host institutions are requested to submit their offers earlier. We would appreciate your understanding.

Last year, forty-two students applied for the 2024 Trainee Selection Examination, and 35 of them were selected as candidates for dispatch.
As a result of close negotiations with each member country, we obtained 32 offers* that were in line with each candidate’s area of expertise and preferences.

Meanwhile, a total of 37 offers from Japanese internship hosts were provided to each member country.

IAESTE Japan will continue to support the candidates until they start their internship.
*Offers: Documents indicating the internship offered by the internship host.

The 2024 overseas internship application period is from September 1st (Fri) to October 20th (Fri).

Applicants must be in their third year of undergraduate school or above at the time of internship and be enrolled in a Japanese university or graduate school.
